Private, high-touch cooking class

What we’ll do

 

All cooking classes are private and held at a beautiful house in central Tokyo. Throughout the experience, you will pick up insights into Japanese cuisine and culture. If there is any Japanese dish that you would particularly like to learn, of course, it can be included in the day’s menu. Otherwise, you will learn about traditional Japanese ingredients, as well as the essential cooking techniques. Classes focus on making fresh homemade dishes, including sushi and other items that you can cook and recreate back home! 

Duration: 3-6 hours.

  • Cooking class with 4-5 dishes

Optional: 
  • Homemade sweets and matcha (green) tea at the end of class
  • Japanese sake paring
  • Fish market visit in the early morning

Japanese cuisine is based on the four seasons, which is an important part of Japanese culture. The hand-on classes offer Japanese Cuisine 101-level introduction to the country’s UNESCO-recognised culinary heritage.
